KABIR VOICE - U.K.

Param Pujya Mahant Shree Jagdish Dasji Shastri Saheb arrived in England on 10th April 1999. He was met at Heathrow Airport by a number of devotees including Laljibhai Gohil and his family, Arunbhai Parmar and his family and Bhupendrabhai, Minaben Parekh and Master Devrishi.

The purpose of Param Pujya Saheb's visit to U.K., Canada and America was to meet and bless the devotees, deliver lectures and discourses and request devotees to submit their memoirs of Param Pujya Mahant Shree Ramswarup Dasji Maharaj Saheb. These memories of devotees will be consolidated into a book. The other purpose for Param Pujya Saheb's visit was to raise funds to host a 3 day international millennium festival/bhandaro in Jamnagar, Gujrat, India on 7th, 8th and 9th January to commemorate the 5th anniversary of Param Pujya Ramswarup Dasji Maharaja's samadhi. The book of memoirs of devotees will be launched at the festival.

While in U.K Param Pujya Saheb visited Holland for one week and stayed at Mahant Shree Gobindprashad Saheb and Shrimati Rajdolariji's home. He visited all the devotees in Rotterdam and Den Haag. Satsang and bhajan programmes were arranged. There are approximately 200 families, mainly from Surinam who are followers of Shree Kabir Saheb in Holland.

While His Holiness was in England he blessed many young couples getting engaged or married, like Hinaben Chayya in Coventry. He showered his special blessings by visiting devotees in London, Basingstoke, Reigate, Croydon, Cambridge, Northampton, Luton, Wellingborough, Leicester, Coventry, Birmingham, Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Preston, Manchester, York, Sheffield and Gerrads Cross. Bhajan and satsang programmes were arranged in most of the towns and cities. Yet again Param Pujya Saheb touched the hearts of hundreds of devotees by receiving them under his shelter and blessing them. He gave discourses/pravachans in English, Gujrati and Hindi.

You will be able to read some of his discourses on the Internet. Eventually, a book will be published with all the discourses of His Holiness's visits to the U.K.

A special thanks to Bhupendrabhai and Minaben Parekh for their generous contribution towards the preparation of marble statue of Param Pujya Mahant Shree Ramswarup Dasji Shastri Saheb to commemorate the 5th anniversary of his samadhi.

His Holiness left for Canada on 22nd May. Even though the flight was very early in the morning, a number of devotees, including Rajdolariji from Holland, came to receive blessings before His Holiness left.

After spending one week in Toronto and one week in Vancouver, Param Pujya Saheb will be leaving for America. Devotees in Canada were very frustrated because His Holiness had not planned to stay there longer. Shree Rameshbhai Bhakta and Dr. J. Dasji have arranged the programme.

Shree Rameshbhai Bhakta with his family and Param Pujya Kamlaba is planning to travel with His Holiness by car from Toronto to Kabir Mandir, Carson, California. A programme to celebrate Kabir Jayanti is being arranged by devotees in America.

If you would like Purnima Vrath or Sandya Patha books, audio and videocassettes of festivals/bhandaro or Param Pujya Sahib's lectures than please do not hesitate to contact.
